PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a photodetector circuit and an optical pickup disposed in an optical disk device, and space. SOLUTION: A plurality of photodetectors P1 to Pn photoelectrically convert optical signals having information signals. A plurality of first amplifying circuits I1 to In amplify currents of electric signals from the photodetectors. A selection means 53 selectively outputs one of the signals amplified by the plurality of current amplifying circuits.
