PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly execute image forming processings even for a processor having comparatively low performance, when the image forming processing and interrupt processing of communication or the like are congested. SOLUTION: A task of image forming processing on each page operates at the basis of standard pitch signals R1, R2, and so. A monitoring handler periodically watches the task conditions of a monitoring target, and will postpone execution for a group of tasks for forming an image of a page tried to process, up to the time until next standard pitch signal R2 is issued, if the monitoring target task is not started, even though a start allowable time predetermined from the issuance of the standard pitch signal R1 with respect to the monitoring target task passes over. Start of the monitoring target task is delayed so that CPU load is high at the standard pitch signal R1, and there is a risk of failure in the image forming processing. However, if the CPU load is reduced at the standard pitch signal R2, there will not be such a risk, and the image forming of the postponed page can be executed properly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
