PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a numerical control system capable of setting to set the commanded state of modal data to the initial state by one control command code. SOLUTION: The numerical control system 100 for controlling a processing device based on a processing program 33 comprises a storing part for storing modal G code setting information 32 for initializing the modal data and a cancel G code 31 for discriminating the modal G code setting information 32; an analyzing part for extracting the processing program 33 for every block and judging whether the cancel G code 31 corresponding to the cancel G code 31 stored by the storing part is contained in the extracted block; and an initializing part for initializing the modal data based on the modal G code setting information 32 corresponding to the cancel G code 31 when the analyzing part discriminates the cancel G code 31 corresponding to the cancel G code 31 in the extracted block.
