PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling channel which has a simpler structure, and yet exerts an antifouling effect more effectively. SOLUTION: A trap 20 serving as the antifouling channel includes a translucent part 21, and a UV-LED 22 working as an ultraviolet light source. The translucent part 21 is made of a translucent material capable of transmitting UV-rays, has an inner peripheral surface 21a capable of emitting UV-rays, and is formed into an S-shaped curved channel through which drainage flows downstream. The UV-LED 22 is formed to be integral to the translucent part 21, and is capable of emitting UV-rays onto the inside of the translucent part 21. The inner peripheral surface 21a of the translucent part 21 is coated with an antifouling layer 21c that is capable of transmitting UV-rays and contains a photocatalyst. The outer peripheral surface of the translucent part 21, on the other hand, is coated with a reflection layer 21b that reflects UV-rays. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
