PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening holding structure of a slide door constituted by adding an element of a checker mechanism to a door opening holding structure of the slide door by a latch mechanism. SOLUTION: This door opening holding structure of the slide door is constituted in such a way that a lock arm 6 can turn from an arm locking position toward an arm releasing position (in the counterclockwise direction) in accordance with operation of a door handle, a striker holding arm 5 can turn from a striker holding position side toward a striker releasing position side (in the clockwise direction) by force Fs acting on the striker holding arm 5 from the striker 4 without relying on operation of the door handle, and door closing operation reaction force based on energizing force Tr1, Tr2 acts at this time.
