PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking apparatus for hair dyeing by which a masking agent to a hair dye can be applied to a peripheral skin of of hair dyeing area of hairs or peripheral hairs when partially dyeing the hairs without taking the masking agent onto a hand prior to spraying the hair dye. SOLUTION: A container 1 is filled with the viscous masking agent exhibiting masking function to the hair dye and capable of being washed out, a push button 8 equipped with a laterally facing dispensing port 12 is secured to the end of a piston type dispensing pipe 5 projecting from a pump held within the container, and the dispensing pipe 5 is operated by operating the push button by the finger. A spatula portion 10 facing the dispensing port 12 is formed in the side portion of the dispensing port 12 and in front of the same, and the shape of the spatula portion is formed to apply the masking agent dispensed from the dispensing port 12 to the periphery of the hair dyeing area while accumulating the masking agent.
