Disclosed is a switchable socket whose contact clips can be connected by means of a switch (18) with adequate potentials. Said socket comprises a light (33) that is located below the actuating member (17) of the switch (18) and indicates the switched state of the switch (18) by shining. The light of said light (33) is visible with the aid of an indicator (31) that is disposed on the actuating member (17) of the switch. The light (33) is fixed to a light support (35) which can be removed from the rocker (26) of the switch (18), thus allowing the same socket to be selectively operated and used with or without a light. |
