A system and a method for managing base station information are provided to collect location information of each of plural base stations and calculate the base station information including orientation and tile based on the collected location information, so that the calculated base station information can be utilized for a simulation for improving the performance of a mobile communication network. A base station information managing system(200) comprises the followings: a controller(210); a database(250); a data collector(220) which collects latitude and longitude information of each base station and altitude information of a preset item related to the base stations, and stores the collected information in the database(250); a location modifier(230) which displays latitude and longitude coordinates of a specific base station, collected by the data collector(220), on a map pre-stored in the database(250) and modifies the latitude and longitude coordinates of the base stations according to preset conditions before storing the modified coordinates in the database(250); and a data calculator(240) which calculates orientation of an arrive point around the north on the map according as a user selects the arrive point at which a signal, transmitted a max point of a specific base station antenna stored in the database(250), arrives, and calculates an altitude of the specific base station based on the altitude information stored in the database(250), and then calculates a tilt with the arrive point. |
