A mobile telephone with slider and flip cover comprises: a screen (1); a slider (2) on the surface of the screen; and a flip cover (3) on the slider (2); the flip cover (3) could be on the underside, left side or right side of the slider (2); when the slider (2) is slided out, configures the number keys and the first function keys on one surface of the flip cover (3) ; when the flip cover (3) is flipped over, the other surface of the flip cover (3) and the slider (2) constitute the letter keys and the second function keys together. The advantage of the utility model is that: not only makes the mobile telephone much smaller, but also enables the user more conveniently and quickly to input text, thanks to introduce the separate letter keypad.
