A mobile communication terminal having a screen capture function is provided to temporarily store contents of a screen and frequently confirm the stored contents, thereby providing a user with convenience. A mobile communication terminal having a screen capture function comprises the followings: a general screen provider(100) for providing a general screen displayed on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) screen(400) in a general operation mode of the terminal; a capture screen provider(200) for providing a capture screen being obtained by capturing the general screen displayed on the LCD screen(400) when a capture operation is performed during the general operation mode of the terminal; and a display controller(300) for selectively displaying the general screen from the LCD general screen provider(100) or the capture screen from the capture screen provider(200) on the LCD screen(400).
