PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system or the like capable of changing associations between operation information and key codes without adding a configuration for reading out information stored in an external storage device.

SOLUTION: A processing system 100 includes a main system 120 for performing at least image processing, a sub-system 110 having at least an external interface function, a shared storage part 140 wherein variable information 144 capable of being updated during operation of the main system 110 is stored, and a control part 130 for controlling access to the storage part 140. The sub-system 110 reads out variable information 144 during stop of the main system 120 when the main system 120 updates the variable information 144.
