<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly safe compact wind power generator at a low manufacturing cost due to simplification of the shape of a blade by shortening the blade and arranging them on the outer side in the radial direction from a rotary shaft of a generator. <P>SOLUTION: The compact wind power generator is provided with a pair of front and rear supporting bodies (5, 6) on an upper end of a column (2) protruding upward and rotatable with the upper and lower axis as the center. A generator (10) is positioned between each of the supporting bodies (5, 6) with the rotary shaft (11) orthogonal to the rotation axis of the supporting bodies (5, 6). A disc-like boss (12) having a larger diameter than the generator (10) is provided coaxially on the rotary shaft (11) of the generator (10). A plurality of blades (13) shorter than the radius of the boss (12) is arranged and fixed radially on the outer peripheral part of the boss (12). A semi-spherical front part wind guide (20) whose rear end approaches an outer peripheral front edge of the boss (12) is provided on the supporting body (5) at the front, and a semi-spherical rear part wind guide (21) whose front end approaches the outer peripheral rear edge of the boss (12) is provided on the supporting body (5) at the rear.
