PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular jack and a plug structured to be easily inserted with a housing each other and easily separated from each other, instead of correcting crosstalk by a current connector after a signal passes through a signal contact and stabilizing connection between the jack and the plug. SOLUTION: The electric connector 10 includes a housing 26, a printed-circuit board and a plurality of contacts 20. The housing 26 includes an insertion-coupling end 22 and an electric wire receptor end 24. The printed-circuit board is mounted in the housing 26 and also includes a penetrating opening 102. The plurality of contacts 20 are structured to be extended from the printed-circuit board.
