PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a recommended program list in preset timing without performing any special operation. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 discriminates an ending time of a program under viewing by using the program information of the program under viewing stored in a program information storage section 17. Furthermore, the program information of a program broadcasting after the ending time of the program under viewing and meeting taste information stored in a taste information storage section 18 is retrieved and a recommended program list is created. The created recommended program list is then presented in preset timing. When setting "an immediately after a program end", for example, the recommended program list is presented near the ending time of the program under viewing while using time information obtained from a clock 16.
