PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of facilitating the classification of photographed image files by generating a new folder and recording therein a photographed image file that can flexibly set and revise a generating condition of the new folder. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus can set a condition under which the new folder is generated through a user interface. The condition is, e.g. a date and time unit and a user can set a desired date and time unit.
