PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch operation detection circuit capable of detecting on/off signals output from a switch circuit precisely. SOLUTION: There are provided a potential determination detection circuit 18 for detecting whether potential is reversed in the on/off signal Sin for a period that is longer than a prescribed short period, and is shorter than a prescribed long period when the on/off signal Sin is input from the switch circuit 1; and an open/close detection signal output circuit 17 for generating a preset open/close detection signal having prescribed waveform for output, based on the detected result of the potential determination detection circuit 18, thus improving precision for detecting the on/off signal Sin.
