PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor in which a photography image file can be stored in a new folder and the user can acquire the fact that a new folder has been created at next photographing. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a file, for storing an image file obtained in the next photographing, is a new folder out of an existing folder in a recording medium and a new folder not existing in the recording medium, that fact is informed.
