PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability in associating a plurality of photographic images obtained by photographing the same subject. SOLUTION: The image processor 100 reduces each of the plurality of photographic images obtained by photographing the same subject at the same reduction rate (e.g., 1/2), and extracts a characteristic point from one image 1 of the photographic images standardized in size by reduction. An area of candidate points corresponding to the extracted characteristic point is set in the other image 2 from which the characteristic point is not extracted, and for each corresponding candidate point in the area, the matching degree of the image pattern of a vicinity area containing the characteristic point with the image pattern of a vicinity area containing each corresponding candidate point is evaluated, and the corresponding point in the image 2 to the characteristic point extracted from the image 1 is specified based on position information of a photographic image having the maximum matching degree.
