PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle capable of preventing contact with an exhaust pipe having high temperatures, as well as effectively shutting off transmission of heat of the exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: A motorcycle 10 according to the present invention is equipped with an engine 70 for generating driving force for driving a wheel, the exhaust pipe 80 arranged on the side of the engine 70 for inducing exhaust emission discharged from the engine 70, and an exhaust pipe cover 90 for shutting off heat generated in the exhaust pipe 80. The exhaust pipe cover 90 is arranged away from the exhaust pipe 80 and covers at least a part of the exhaust pipe.
