PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly structure a work carrying vehicle, wherein an engine arranging a crank shaft direction in a machine body fore-and-aft direction, an axle in a machine body lateral direction, a hydraulic transmission device transmitting driving force from the engine to the axle, and a mechanical transmission gear are arranged under a deck, while sufficiently ensuring deck capacity. SOLUTION: The work carrying vehicle is arranged with the engine 11 arranging the crank shaft direction in the machine body fore-and-aft direction, the axle 18 in the machine body lateral direction, the hydraulic transmitting device (a hydraulic pump P and a hydraulic motor M) transmitting driving force from the engine 11 to the axle 18, and the mechanical transmission gear (a planetary gear mechanism 30), under the deck 10. The mechanical transmission gear is equipped with transmission shafts 32 to 36 in parallel with the axle 18.
