PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the automatization allowing manual mounting of a component. SOLUTION: In the mounting method of the component, a door glass having a nut member 36 is mounted to an upper guide rail 24 of a window regulator having a gourd shape hole 51 by fastening a mounting bolt 37. The method comprises a moving process to overlap the gourd shape hole 51 to a nut member 36 as shown in (c), the process to temporarily fastening the mounting bolt 37 to the nut member 36 with the mounting bolt 37 passed through the gourd shape hole 51 as shown in (d), the process moving the gourd shape hole and abutting the end part 56a of a long hole 56 of the gourd hole 51 on a screw part 37b of the mounting bolt 37 as shown in (e), and the process fully fastening the mounting bolt 37 to the nut member 36 as shown in (f).
