PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary and convenient suction nozzle allowing a user to store the suction nozzle as the extension of cleaning without touching the suction nozzle when the suction nozzle is replaced with an extension pipe, etc. SOLUTION: The suction nozzle comprises a pipe member 19, an inlet member rotatable in the axial direction of the pipe member 19 and disposed on the outer surface or a part of the pipe member 19, a hook spring (an elastic body) 24 for energizing the inlet member in the direction of rotation relative to the axial direction of the pipe member 19, a rotating means for rotating the inlet member to a position projecting at a given angle relative to the axial direction of the pipe member 19, and a means for holding the pipe member 19 at a position approximately parallel to the axial direction. With this structure, the inlet member is rotated to the position projecting at the given angle relative to the axial direction of the pipe member when the extension pipe, etc. connected to the pipe member is detached, and dust can be sucked immediately from the inlet member as the suction nozzle without touching the suction nozzle.
