PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for heating foodstuff, wherein a plate is heated in a short time, deterioration of a tray due to heating of a heat storage member is reduced and in addition, reduction in weight of the plate is attained. SOLUTION: The bottom surface of the plate 10 is exposed from the through hole 21a of the heat storage member 20 and the plate 10 and the heat storage member 20 are simultaneously directly heated by an electromagnetic induction heater IH. Thus, compared with the case of heating the plate 10 with the heat storage member 20 after heating only the heat storage member 20 by the electromagnetic induction heater IH, a heating time of the plate 10 is shortened, so that the temperature of the heat storage member 20 when the plate 10 reaches a prescribed temperature is lowered. Moreover, the plate 10 and a dish FD' can be warmed with the heat storage member 20, so that it is not required to increase the heat capacity of the plate 10 for warming the dish.
