PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat back not decreasing strength of all of a seat back frame even if a seat back structure absorbing an impact due to a collision or the like is employed. SOLUTION: The seat back 3 is provided with the seat back frame 7 inside and equipped with a headrest 5 on the upper part. The seat back frame 7 is provided with side frames 8 on both sides and an upper frame 9 hung on and across the upper ends of the side frames 8. Impact absorbing brackets 15 are fixed onto the seat back frame 7 in such a manner that buckling can occur to cover both sides except an area where the headrest 5 is disposed in the frame 9.
