摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide composite film formed on the surface of various base materials, having high hardness and flexibility, is excellent in the protective function for the base material surface and surface layer, and having anti-fouling ability; a coating liquid for forming the film; a method of manufacturing the coating liquid and a method of forming the film. SOLUTION: The oxide composite film is characterised in that it is formed on the surface of a base material from a composite containing titanium oxide, zirconium oxide and/or hafnium oxide. The oxide composite film contains desirably the titanium oxide (A) and the zirconium oxide and/or hafnium oxide (B) in a ratio of A:B=1:0.01-1:0.5 in a mole ratio. The method of forming the oxide composite film is characterised by coating the base material with the coating liquid for forming oxide composite film in the state where a composite of titanium oxide and zirconium oxide and/or hafnium oxide is dispersed in water, and fixing and hardening the composite by irradiating it with an electromagnetic wave such as a heat ray at a temperature of a normal temperature to 400°C and/or an ultraviolet ray.
