The vehicle has a front axle gear (21), arranged in an area of an engine (6), comprising a drive crown wheel (22) and a differential gear that is arranged in a differential cage. The crown wheel meshes with a drive pinion (20), which is connected with an output (14) of a transfer gear-box (8) via a prop shaft (15). The gear (21) is arranged, so that the differential gear is found on a side of the crown wheel that is turned away from the center of the vehicle when viewed from the front of the vehicle. The drive pinion is connected with the prop shaft via a gear wheel stage.
