The invention mainly concerns a microfluidic device for measuring fluorescence of at least a small volume of liquid (2) comprising means for moving (4) by electrowetting on a hydrophobic surface in order to: bring a small volume of water into a measuring position at the output of an excitation filter zone (34.1,34.2) and in front of the input of an emission filter zone; bring a drop forming an emission filter (44.1,44.2) in the excitation zone, and/or to bring a drop forming a liquid emission filter in the emitting zone. The invention also concerns a method for measuring fluorescence using a liquid emission and/or a liquid excitation filter.
