摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate venting of gas generated at a first charge and discharge to an external, and prevent degradation of battery performance such as charge and discharge characteristics, a battery life or the like of a lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A separator structure 1 with polymer electrolyte 12 coated at an interval on both surfaces of a separator material 11 is interposed and laminated between a negative electrode active material 22 and positive electrode active material 23. When first charge is conducted in this state, an uncoated part 13 of the polymer electrolyte 12 serves as a passage of the gas generated from an inside of a battery element at the first charge, and the gas is vented to the external.
