<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a document display device with which display content can be grasped easily. <P>SOLUTION: For moving pages successively regarding electronic data displayed on the document display device, a start position adjusting value for the first page is set to zero to start generation of layout with the leading position of a display screen as a leading character. For the second page, its start position adjusting value is set to ((character size+line spacing size)/2) to start generation of layout with its position set for a head character. Consequently, the second page is laid out at the centers of line spacings of the first page, and even if the first page is displayed as a residual image effect while the second page is displayed, overlapping of the first page and the second page can be held to a minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
