<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection reinforcing implement for a furring-strips retainer and furring strips, which simplifies construction while effectively suppressing the opening of an engaging part of a clip, and a method for reinforcing a ceiling substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The clip 30 is equipped with a locking part 31 which is locked to the furring-strips retainer 10 by being bent, and the engaging part 34 which is engaged with the furring strips 20. The furring strips 20 are equipped with an engaging lip 23 for engaging the engaging part 34. A reinforcing implement body 41, a locking piece 42, and a fastening means 43 for fastening the body 41 and the locking piece 42 together are provided. The body 41 is equipped with a covering part 49 which is locked to an upper end of the retainer 10 so as to cover at least the locking part 31 of the clip 30, an overhanging part 47 along the upside of the furring strip 20, and a through-hole 47a which is formed in the overhanging part 47 so as to pass through the fastening means 43. The locking piece 42 inserted into the engaging lip 23 is brought close to the overhanging part 47 by the fastening means 43 inserted into the through-hole 47a, so that the body 41 can be brought close to the furring strips 20 and fixed to them, and so that the connection of the locking piece 42 of the clip 30 can be reinforced by the covering part 49. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
