<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a system stops since noise due to a power-OFF operation can not be discriminated from a recovery signal and the the system can not be powered OFF normally if a signal for instructing recovery to a normal operation mode is generated nearly at the same time with the power-OFF operation since a conventional storage means comprises inexpensive logic. <P>SOLUTION: The system which has a power-saving mode and comprises a CPU, a DRAM, and a hard disk is reset even if the signal for instructing recovery is generated at the same time by turning off the power source after placing a watchdog timer in operation when the power-saving mode is selected. Even if the system is reset by the watchdog timer, a flat is saved normally in the storage means, so the operation can stably be continued in the normal mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
