<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of preventing a heat transfer sheet mounted on the lower face of a heat sink from being peeled off due to insertion/extraction of a card. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector is provided with the heat sink 4 which is mounted to a connector body 3 movably in the direction Y orthogonal to the card C insertion direction X, a slider 9 mounted to the body 3 slidably in the card insertion direction X, and an engagement 10 provided to the slider 9 so as to be engaged with the card C. A plurality of cam mechanisms 12 between the slider 9 and the heat sink 4 separate the heat sink 4 from one side face C2 of the card C by lifting it against energizing force of a spring 5, when the slider 9 is located at a rearward position in the card insertion direction X; and also, bring the heat sink 4 into contact with the one side face C2 of the card C, when a contact C1 of the card C is connected to a terminal 2 of the body 3 by the movement of the slider 9 in the card insertion direction X caused by the card C inserted into the body 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
