PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body abnormality detection sensor, capable of detecting a human abnormality inside a room, wherein individual privacy is required to be protected surely without invading privacy, and to provide an information system that uses it. SOLUTION: This sensor is equipped with an operation part 44 for determining the distance to a person and the azimuth, wherein the person exists based on a time difference from transmission of sound waves from a transmitting element 10, until the reception of the sound waves by each receiving element 30, after being reflected by the person; and a determination part 45 for determining that the person is in an abnormal state, when it is detected that the person in a privacy space does not move for a prescribed time or longer, based on the three-dimensional information of the distance and the azimuth determined by the operation part 44, and generating a detection output. The transmitting element 10 has a heat insulating layer 12, interposed between a base substrate 11 and a heating body layer 13, and generates the sound wave by applying a heat impact to the air, due to the temperature change of the heating body layer 13 resulting from energization to the heating body layer 13.
