PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device for vending machine improved to enhance theft preventive property in addition to the function of checking half-opening of an outer door by additionally providing a simple interlock mechanism between a handle of the outer door and a slide plate. SOLUTION: In this door lock device for vending machine, a handle 3 with lock, a vertically movable slide plate 5 linked with the handle 3 through a swing cam 4, and snatch locks distributed and disposed in upper and lower portions of the outer door 2 in association with the slide plate 5 are provided on the outer door 2 arranged on the front surface of a cabinet, and the snatch locks are locked and released by operation of the handle 3 in opening and closing the door, and locked with and released from a lock bar provided on the front surface of the main body cabinet. This device additionally comprises a door bar mechanism for interlocking the handle 3 with the slide plate 5 and engagingly locking the slide plate 5 in a lowered position by closing operation of the handle 3. Thus, the handle 3 cannot be returned to a close position in a half-opened state of the door 2 since a door bar butts against the side surface of the slide plate 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
