PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system that improves cross-range resolution, can secure angle measuring accuracy even in a multi-path environment, and can secure detecting/tracking performance, even under a disturbed environment. SOLUTION: Radar devices 1 and 2 are arranged separately from each other by a separation distance L, determined according to the search range or tracking range of a target 4, a desired cross-range resolution, and separation resolution of the radar devices 1 and 2. When the distance R<SB>t1</SB>from the radar device 1 to the target 4 exceeds a reference distance, the position of the target 4 is specified, based on the azimuth information generated by angle measurement with the radar device 1. When the distance is the reference distance or shorter, the position of the target 4 is specified, based on distance information generated by measurement with the radar devices 1 and 2.
