PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleated screen which consists of two types of screen elements, and has continuity imparted thereto, to thereby reduce an operating load of the screen. SOLUTION: The screen 12 is set up by alternately connecting the first screen element 14 and the second screen element 16 to each other every predetermined pitches. Herein, a first opening/closing cord 28 vertically movably hanging from a head box 10 is successively connected to a lower edge of each first screen element 14, and a second opening/closing cord 29 vertically movably hanging from the head box 10 is successively connected to a lower edge of each second screen element 16.
