PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyglycolic acid resin composition having improved hydrolysis resistance and drawability. SOLUTION: The polyglycolic acid resin composition is composed of 100 pts.wt. of a polyglycolic acid resin and 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a phenolic resin. The phenolic resin is preferably a polyvinylphenol or a novolac phenolic resin containing a phenol structure in the repeating unit.
