PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet stacking device capable of neatly stacking sheets with ends thereof being aligned not to be deformed. SOLUTION: A transfer conveyor 70 displaced between a first state extending upward of a stacking table T and a second state evacuated from a part of the stacking table T is installed between a sheet holding device and the stacking table T. A sheet guide member 100 having a slope surface 102 inclined to an upper surface side of the stacking table T from an upper surface side of the transfer conveyor 70 is installed on a tip side facing the stacking table T at the transfer conveyor 70. A sheet pressing member 110 capable of pressing a part in a vicinity of an end of the sheet S reaching the upper surface of the stacking table T from the transfer conveyor 70 against the stacking table T is arranged above the stacking table T. A sheet pressing part 118 at the tip of the sheet pressing member 110 is formed of a flexible material to follow the shape of the pressed sheet S and to be deformed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
