PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle capable of reducing the weight while the strength of its frames is well maintained and of being embodied in a slim construction. SOLUTION: The saddle-riding type vehicle is configured so that an engine 12 is supported on the frames 19 and 20 extending to below backward from a head pipe 15 supporting a steering shaft rotatably, wherein each frame is configured with one main frame 19 extending down backward aslant from the head pipe 15 and a left and a right sub-frame 20 connected with the main frame 19, and the engine 12 is supported by attaching to the main frame 19 and the sub-frames 20.
