PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stomach band using a balloon with an accordion-type structure and enabling improved inflation and deflation. SOLUTION: This stomach band includes a belt and the balloon fixed to the belt. The balloon and the belt have shapes and dimensions capable of surrounding the stomach at a prescribed position. The balloon includes a body at least having a single fold and extending longitudinally, and the fold extends along the long axis of the body so as to obtain a deflected and non-inflated balloon shape without reducing the filling volume of the completely inflated balloon.
