A method for making a digital representation of a printed product having a plurality of versions, the method including (a) creating a product structure for digitally representing the printed product; (b) including a composition of the printed product out of sections in the product structure; (c) getting first input data for defining a first version out of the plurality of versions; (d) getting second input data for defining a second version out of the plurality of versions; and (e) modifying the product structure based on the first and the second input data, thus obtaining the digital representation of the printed product having the plurality of versions.
