<p>There are included a transmission buffer (1-2) that temporarily holds downstream transport data to be transmitted to a radio terminal (2); a transmission parameter deciding means (1-4) that decides, based on downstream channel quality information indicative of the reception quality at the radio terminal (2) for a downstream radio channel, a downstream transmission parameter related to the transmission quality of the downstream radio channel; and a transmission parameter control means (1-11) that controls, based on at least both the downstream channel quality information and information related to the amount of the to-be-transmitted downstream transport data in the transmission buffer (1-2), the decided transmission parameter. In this way, the transmission parameter can be decided taking into account the amount of the to-be-transmitted data stored in the transmission buffer (1-2) of the radio transmitting apparatus (1), whereby the throughput of the downlink (downstream radio channel) from the radio transmitting apparatus (1) to the radio terminal (2) can be improved.</p> |
