摘要 A cleaning control device of a robot cleaner and a method thereof are provided to improve the dust amount-detecting efficiency by detecting the sound wave and vibration generated when the dust collides in the dust passage guide part. A cleaning control method of a robot cleaner is composed of: a first step(S10) of guiding the dust sucked during the cleaning into a predetermined passage to suck the dust; a second(S30) step of detecting sound wave or vibration generated when the dust collides as the dust amount; and a third(S40) step of judging the concentration cleaning area, and storing position information corresponding to the area if the dust amount is over the reference amount, and moving the cleaner to the place after finishing the cleaning and concentrically cleaning the area. A vibration sensor is used to detect the vibration when the dust collides.
