<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of damping vibration while preventing a bearing from slipping out in an axial direction and hardly generating creep at a fitting surface between the bearing and a vibration damping member. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration damping member 2 of cylindrical shape formed of a ferromagnetic vibration damping alloy material is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of an outer ring 4 of a ball bearing 1. The absolute value of the circumferential distortion amount of the fitting surface 8 at the fitting surface 8 to the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 4 of the vibration damping member 2 is set to >0 and ≤4.0×10<SP>-4</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
