<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cane effective in safe walking by making ferrules hardly slip. <P>SOLUTION: The cane comprises a rod-shaped main body 1 and a leg body 2 provided with two legs 3 and 4 in a longitudinal direction. In the main body 1 and the leg body 2, the front end of the main body 1 is pivoted on the leg body 2 in the middle position of the two legs 3 and 4 of the leg body 2. When a user holds a handle part 6 provided on the base end of the main body 1 and forward projects the front end of the main body 1, the ferrules 8 and 9 of the legs 3 and 4 are brought into contact with the ground in a straightly facing state to the ground respectively and hardly slip on the ground to stabilize all of the leg body 2. When the user continues walking holding the handle part 6, the main body 1 turns only in a walking advancing direction, not falling breadthwise, thereby helping stably walk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
