<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of solving the problem caused by a rise in a temperature when using an optical disk with reduced environmental load. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device is provided with a temperature detection element 20 which is provided in the the optical disk device and detects a temperature in the optical disk device, detects the usable temperature of a mounted optical disk 1, and is configured so as to change the using mode of the optical disk from a normal operation mode to a power saving operation mode when a temperature reaches a prescribed value during an operation is performed in the normal operation mode by using the optical disk with a low usable temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
