<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel especially installed on an aluminum alloy made knuckle and improved in bearing rigidity by preventing anode corrosion and restraining a fitting clearance gap between the knuckle and a bearing part. <P>SOLUTION: This bearing device for the wheel is furnished with an outer member 4 having a car body mounting flange 4b fixed on the aluminum alloy made knuckle N through a fastening bolt 21, an inner member 1 to which a hub ring 1 and an outside coupler member 14 are plastic-connected and plural rows of rolling elements 6 stored between both of the members, a cover 22 having corrosion resistant capacity is interposed between the outer member 4 and the knuckle N, this cover 22 is furnished with a flange part 22a to make contact with a side surface of the car body mounting flange 4b and a bellows type cylinder part 22b extending in the axial direction from this flange part 22a and fitted on a outer diameter of the outer member 4, and a film 25 made of an insulating member is formed on a surface of this cover 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
