PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever device capable of surely evading an electric failure such as disconnection from occurring because of a long term use and capable of suppressing a manufacturing cost even if an operation part capable of pressing operation in a protruding end side of an operation lever has been formed. SOLUTION: This is equipped with a lever device main body 1 in which a first rocking shaft L1 to support the operation lever 2 is formed, a second rocking shaft L2 extending in a direction nearly perpendicular to the first rocking shaft L1, a switching member 3 which is supported by the second rocking shaft L2, in which the operation part 3a capable of pressing operation has been formed at the tip, and in which the operation part 3a is positioned at the side face of the protruding end side of the operation lever 2, a base end part 3b formed in the base end of the switching member 3 being interlocked with rocking of the switching member 2 and capable of generating magnetism, and a hole IC element 6 to detect the magnetism of the base end part 3b of the switching member 3 with non-contact in a state of rocking by a pressing operation of the operation part 3a.
