PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition capable of effectively preventing the peeling at the rolling face of a grease-sealed bearing caused by hydrogen embrittlement and provide a bearing containing the grease sealed in the bearing. SOLUTION: The grease composition is produced by adding an additive to a base grease composed of a base oil and a thickening agent. The additive at least contains inorganic bismuth in an amount of 0.05-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the base grease. The inorganic bismuth is bismuth trioxide, bismuth powder and/or bismuth carbonate, the thickening agent is a urea-based thickening agent, the base oil is an alkyl diphenyl ether oil and/or a poly-α-olefin oil, and the grease-sealed bearing contains the grease composition sealed in the bearing.
