PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke sound-recording and editing device facilitating editing of a plurality of takes. SOLUTION: The karaoke sound-recording and editing device is equipped with a storage means of storing accompaniment music data, karaoke data of a musical piece to be edited which includes lyrics display data having time information connected to a time series of the accompaniment music data, and singing sound-recording files of a plurality of takes of the musical piece having the time information connected to the time series of the accompaniment music data, a display means of displaying lyrics under the control of a control means, and an operation input means capable of specifying an arbitrary character in the displayed lyrics and specifying a take. When portions of the singing sound-recording files of the plurality of takes are edited by being cut and pasted to reconstitute a musical piece, the karaoke sound-recording and editing device makes the display means displays the lyrics based upon the lyrics display data, specifies the position of the accompaniment music data on the time base with the lyrics character specified by the operation input means, and computes the position of the singing sound-recording file of the take specified by the operation input means on the time base.
